Texty: Dechant Anne E. Carry On.
A slender twenty four year old
Walked herself across a road
Under weeping trees
Twenty years her memory
As she held her father's hand
And the family sang Amazing Grace
In the pouring rain
Before her feet a stone with words
A gift for those she parted
And in every cut of stone
She found where she had started
And she knew more who she was
From the where that she had come
And the things that bind us
Carry on while I'm gone away
Carry on with a smile on your face
I'm as big as you keep in your heart
And there I'll stay. I'll remain
As you in me. There I'll be
She ran her hand across the stone
And heard her mother's laughter
And promised to tell each one
The story of their grandma
And the things that had been been taken
Made a vow to give her own
Be the tie unbroken
Carry on while I'm gone away
Carry on with a smile on your face
I'm as big as you keep in your heart
And there I'll stay. I'll remain
As you in me. There I'll be
Walked herself across a road

Twenty years her memory
