This piece provides a compositional challenge to find a balance between 2 wind instruments and piano, the general structure of the piece is evolved so that different balances between the 3 instruments can be explored. The main section of this composition demonstrates evenly matched instruments whilst there are 3 episodes interweaving throughout that are all different. The 2nd episode sees the wind and piano play extremely contrasting material in quick alternations whilst the 3rd episode shows how the instruments can be balanced in a close environment producing a short canon. The work is relatively short and all sections are played without breaks, each one heralded by a single, soft piano chord.

Tento kúsok poskytuje kompozičný úlohu nájsť rovnováhu medzi dva dychové nástroje a klavír, všeobecná štruktúra kusu sa vyvinula tak, že rôzne rovnováhu medzi 3 nástroje môžu byť preskúmané. Hlavná časť tejto skladby ukazuje vyrovnanej nástroje, zatiaľ čo tam sú 3 epizódy prepájajú celé, ktoré sú všetky rôzne. 2. epizóda vidí vietor a klavír hrať veľmi kontrastného materiálu v rýchlom striedaní, zatiaľ čo tretia epizóda ukazuje, ako môžu byť nástroje je dané v tesnom prostredí produkuje krátky kánon. Práca je pomerne krátka a všetky časti sa hrá bez prestávky, každý z nich ohlasoval jediným, mäkké klavírny akord.
