This CD contains 23 tunes by the Great pianist and composer Duke Ellington. This is a must for his fans and admirers of his Jazzy style as, unusually for Ellington, this set was composed for a British stage production and there are many mood creating fragments. The music frequently features the driving work of Emmanuel Abdul-Rahim on congas and Bobby Durham on Drums.
