While seated in the park near the Via Veneto, I suffered an attack of nostalgia at which time I found myself remembering my years as a jazz pianist. film composer in the Eternal City. 1964-1966. It seemed fitting that I should write a piece that might speak of those golden years when La Dolce Vita was, for me, alive and real. Roman Spring is that piece.
