Jobim. However, in this case, I didn't sit down at the piano with the intention of writing a bossa nova. it's just what happened. It is also the longest melody I've ever written. forty-two measures to drop an octave and a half. The melody should sound suitably languorous over the quick little separated after-beats in the accompaniment. The subsequent development section of the piece should feel like improvised solos, played with considerable freedom.

Avšak v tomto prípade som sa sadnúť ku klavíru s úmyslom písania bossa novu. to je práve to, čo sa stalo. To je tiež najdlhšia melódie, čo som kedy napísal. štyridsaťdva opatrení klesnúť o oktávu a pol. Melódie by mala znieť vhodne malátny cez rýchle Krtkom oddelí-beaty v sprievode. V následnej kapitole Vývoj kusu by mal pocit, že improvizovaných sól, hral značnú voľnosť.
