Let All the Peoples Praise You, O God composed by Michael Bedford. For 2-part choir, piano, flute. Sacred Anthem. Octavo. Published by Chorister's Guild. LO.CGA933. Commissioned by the Texas Conference Choir Clinic for Music and the Worship Arts in celebration of their 50th Anniversary, this piece was written with middle school unchanged voices in mind. Syncopated rhythms and calypso elements in the refrain drive the piece forward while quiet, meditative verses offer contrast. The frequent sixteenth-note passages in the Flute part require a somewhat advanced player. The anthem is suitable for any occasion where praise and thanksgiving are the themes.
