Siegfried's Tango composed by Friedmann Dressler. Cello Ensemble. For 4 Cellos. Sheet Music. Published by Zimmermann. PE.ZM32580. Even composing these pieces was great fun for the cellist Friedmann Dressler from Duisburg. He had been infected with the "Wagner bug" from an early age and since then has been admiring Richard Wagner, the composer. Wagner's lyrics, however, sometimes left Dressler with a funny feeling. This conflict is the basis of his humorous parodies on Wagner, meant to be played as polka, tango, waltz and scherzo. The individual pieces based on motifs of "Der Meistersinger", The Ring Cycle and "Tristan" are preceded by the corresponding motifs - to everyone's orientation and delight.

Dokonca aj skladanie týchto kúskov bola skvelá zábava pre violončelistu Friedmann Dressler z Duisburgu. On bol napadnutý vírusom "Wagner chyba" od útleho veku a od tej doby obdivoval Richarda Wagnera, skladateľ. Wagnerovej texty, ale niekedy opustil Dressler s legrační pocit. Tento konflikt je základom jeho vtipných paródiou na Wagnera, chcel byť hraný ako polka, tango, valčík a scherzo. Jednotlivé kusy založené na motívy "Der Meistersinger", cyklus Prsteň a "Tristan" predchádza zodpovedajúcimi motívy - k orientácii a radosti každého.
