This piece for SSAATTBB has a beautiful flowing accompaniment that highlights the simple choral parts with women singing unison in the first verse and the choir in simple parts in the second verse. The third verse starts out with the men singing in 4 part harmony and the women come in on the very last line. Then there is an immediate key modulation and they sing in 7-part harmony. Then the tone drops again and the women enter softly for a brief reprise on the last verse, which returns to the flowing accompaniment to bring the theme back to the origin.
